Fostering is temporarily caring for a shelter animal while they wait to find a forever home.

 

Is fostering expensive?

No! ACL provides all the supplies and guidance you will need—you won’t have to pay for anything out of pocket.

 

How long should I expect to keep my foster pet?

That depends! From weekend getaways to long-term stays, fostering can vary significantly based on your availability, your foster animal’s circumstances, and more.
